This Chipotle food wise is not much different form others. Pretty much all the same in my opinion.
The employees are for the most part friendly.
The most annoying part is when you get a customer ahead of you in line that is rude and very particular about their order and holds up the line when you are trying to get food -

This is my favorite place to eat. Great food and excellent customer service. I am always greeted by the staff with a welcome smile.

For real authentic chinese cuisine this is a great place in Martinez! The location is easy to get to right off the freeway. Not sure how long ago this place changed owners but since then the food and service improved. The also have a full bar!
The salted pepper fish and the deluxe chow fun noodle dish is one of my favorites. I came here last week it was so good i came back! Love love! -

The last time we ordered at China Gourmet was 2017. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't spectacular so we switched to another local Chinese restaurant. Recently, we've been into giving "second chances" and decided to give China Gourmet a second chance tonight. The food was edible, but didn't taste good; chow mein tasted off - the kung pao sauce on the kung pao chicken was not good. I'm not a "foodie" but know passable when I see it - this wasn't even that. Perhaps the quality of the ingredients is not up to par or maybe something genuinely went bad. Needless to say, we won't be back until they are a solid 4 stars.

The vegetable fried rice was the best I've ever had! I loved all of the big pieces of squash and broccoli in additions to the carrots and peas. The eggs were also plentiful and well-distributed throughout. I also tried broccoli prawns for the first time and will definitely be getting those again - the sauce was flavorful and amazing. My ill husband enjoyed the spinach and tofu soup. We also had vegetable spring rolls which were nice and crisp on the outside and steaming hot on the inside.
I ordered online and the food was fresh and ready for pick up within 15 minutes. All of the ingredients seemed fresh and the service was excellent.
